An award! & 7 things most people don't know about me

Here are the rules of this award:
1.Thank the person who gave this to you.
2. copy the logo and place it on your blog.
3. link to the person who nominated you.
4. name seven things about yourself no one would really know
Thanks to Amber & Melinda for giving me this award!!
Amber is my fiance's cousin, who also happens to be my best friend. Amber is creative & extremely smart, & she makes me lots of yummy baked goods :)
I "met" Melinda through my Mom. Melinda is also very creative & she is a very strong person.
Now I have to think. Since most of the people that look at my blog are family & know me pretty well, this is going to be hard to think of stuff most people wouldn't know.
1. I wish I could still play with barbie dolls & get away with it. I played with them until.. I wanna say 12? & I loved them. I actually had to FORCE my self to stop playing with them because I was scared I'd get teased about it. I would make a little house for them & use random things to be a part of their house (like a plain maroon table place mat as a carpet for my barbies) I can't wait to (hopefully) have a little girl one day to play barbies with!
2. I absolutely HATE Math. I have never been good at it & it frustrates me beyond belief. I failed math 2 time in High school. I have to practice practice practice to get it & I just don't have the patience to do so. However, I've been going to college for 4 weeks & since I just finished doing math about 4 months ago it's still fairly fresh in my mind, so all the older people that aren't getting it are asking me for help! it's great!
3. I have no patience what-so-ever. I thought I was getting better but I don't think so. I get extremely annoyed when I have to wait on people. Especially when someone says "be ready by this time" & I'm ready but they're not. I get annoyed waiting in line for anything & in traffic. I'm pretty much always in a hurry & hate to wait on anything.
4. I am ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED to get in a car accident, therefore, i refuse to drive. I have always been scared of them. I can remember when I was really little & my mom would leave to go somewhere I would have to go because if she got in a car accident I wanted to be there to make sure she's okay & not alone. Everyone always thought it was separation anxiety but it wasn't. As I grew older this fear stayed with me. I hate getting in the car & I panic as soon as we hit the highway. I'm constantly yelling at Jake to slow down even if he's going 5 under the speed limit. Lately people have been pushing me to get my license but it's my absolute worst fear.
5. I NEVER planned on go to college. If you would have asked me as a freshman if I was going to graduate I would have told you "no, I'm dropping out as soon as i turn 16" (because then I can doing it without my parents signing anything) I had planned on dropping out until i got pregnant. Once I found out I was pregnant I knew I had to stay in school to get a better education & job & to be a good role model. I still didn't plan on going to college. I had just decided my senior year that I really need to go. & so far I love it!!!
6. I hate to pee! lol It feels like such a waste of time. It annoys me so much to have to get up in the middle of doing something & go pee. It's just annoying
7. As much as I hate this I'm not sure that going to college to be in the medical field is such a good idea. I REALLY want to work in a hospital, I'm not sure why but I feel comfortable in them. I love to be there. & I also really want to help people. However, I can't watch disgusting shows where it shows blood & stuff. I can barely stand to look at my own blood. & just talking about stuff inside the body makes me queezy. Just thinking about it does! I keep hoping I'll get over it. But as of now, I still want to throw up at the sight of blood.

I'm so excited!!

I finally convinced Jake today that we should go to Kansas this winter! I'm not sure how were getting there, when we're getting there, or who were staying with, but I do know were going!! & were staying for two weeks!

The only thing I'm hoping is that we don't end up on a plane/bus/train on my birthday.. oh yeah I can also almost guarantee you we will NOT be taking a train again!

I can't believe it!

For, I don't even know how long, I've been telling people that Jake & I have been together for 2 years, & 3 years in december. Well a friend was over earlier & I said its almost mine & jakes birthdays & our 3 year anniversary, she quickly corrected me & said "uh, no Lex, it's almost 4 years" I honestly didn't believe it, & then Jake started telling me he thinks it is 4 years too. I had to look at a calander, & even though the calander made it clear that it is going to be 4 years this december, I still had a hard time believing it. For the longest time i thought it was going to be 3 years. I can't believe Jake 7 I have been together 3 months shy of 4 years, it seems like such a long time, but it doesnt feel like it's been that long. I guess that's a good thing, huh?

Anyway, I'm pretty excited that next year will be 5 years! :)

Survived college!

(please excuse the cigarette in my hand)

I survived my first day of college. I'm taking night classes, & I kinda thought there wouldn't be so many people in there, but it was a full packed class.
There was allot of older people though that have kids so they're also taking night classes. I think I'm probably the youngest in my class, or one of them.
Well my first class went good & my professor is a really cool guy, wish me luck!

Labor day weekend

Friday Jace came over

Saturday we went apple picking

Sunday we had a fire with a few friends over.

Monday we went to the Columbia County Fair. It's about a 40 minute drive from our house & I guess it's a pretty big deal. We seen license plates from Florida, Mass, & New Jersey. It goes on for a week & different activities go on every day so people camp out for the week to see everything. We only went for the rides & animals. Although we didn't do any rides because it was $3-5 a ride/person so since obviously Anthony couldn't go on alone, we would be paying about 10 bucks a ride for me or Jake to go on a kiddy ride with Anthony. Anyway, he enjoyed the animals.
feeding goats

Kangaroo
Black Leopard ( I always thought these were panthers??)

Alligators

parrot & monkey
So we had a very busy labor day weekend & none of it was planned until the day of. We had so much fun just doing things as a family because we're usually always with friends.
Hope you all had a great holiday as well!!

What's been going on.

I've been home for the summer with Anthony & we're both enjoying it very much. I love being able to be with him all the time & hear all his new words that he picks up on on a daily basis. He's getting so smart!! His birthday parties went well, I still can't believe my baby is 2! I start college on September 9Th & I'm very nervous. I have to take night classes, which run from 6pm-10pm Mon.-Wed & 6-8:45 Thursdays. I hope everything goes okay. I'm a little nervous to have to do all my work during the day while being a mother as well. I hope I don't start to slack in either subject.
Anthony broke out with a bad rash on Sunday & we thought it was chicken pox. We went to the doctors today, because I was a little curious as to what it was since he's not itching it at all & it doesn't seem to be affecting him. The doctors said he has coxsackie virus. Its just a rash all over his body, mouth included. There's not much you can do about it except give him lots of Popsicles & ice cream, which he is not one bit upset about. I also haven't been feeling too well. Hope all this craziness goes away soon!

This is a picture of coxsackie virus I took off google just so you get an idea of how it looks. Although Anthony's aren't as bad on his hands, it is on his butt, belly, legs & feet. However, he has no bumps on his back arms or face. His also don't look so blistery. The doctor said this is very common for kids to get near the end of the summer. She said everyday there's a couple kids that go in her office for it.

Thanks Grandma Jo

Money is always nice to receive as a graduation gift, but not only did grandma Jo send me money, she also sent me this book, I Knew You Could, & it really meant allot to me.
I was a little surprised to see a children's book when I first opened the package, but after Anthony & I read it I realized why she sent it. For a children's book it sure has some great advice!
I am so lucky to have such a supportive, loving, & caring family. My dads side of the family, my grandma Leanna, Grandpa Chuck, my aunts & cousins have all been emailing me for the past couple weeks giving me confidence that I would graduate. & After I did graduate I received emails from everyone telling me how proud they are of me. & on here I have also been receiving comments from everyone telling me how proud they are too. It means so much to have everyone believing in me.
Thanks to everyone that has kept me feeling confident when I thought I wasn't going to graduate, & to everyone who has supported me throughout it all.

Thanks so much, Grandma!!!

Graduation

Towards the end of the year I started getting pretty nervous if I was going to graduate or not. I had to take 3 regents exams in order to graduate this year & walk across stage with my class.
You're supposed to take your regents in 11th grade so your stress-free your senior year, but of course I screwed up my freshman year & failed the whole year, sooo I was taking junior & senior classes my senior year. While most seniors got to come in late or leave early, I was there allll day. I had a lunch every other day, & that was my only free period, but I still didn't usually eat lunch, I was usually studying or doing homework during that 40 minutes.
Well I studied my BUTT of for those regents. I was supposed to find out all my grades on Monday. I found out one on Thursday, I passed the U.S History regents. Monday I found out I passed the Math regents, & passed my business math course(I didnt have a regents for that class but a final) Then comes tuesday. I'm waiting & waiting to hear from my English teacher to find out if I can graduate or not. Of course they keep me waiting & didn't call until Wednesday. My English teacher called & said "What the hell were you worried about? you got an 80% on your English regents, I'll see you at graduation" That was SUCH good news to hear. I almost cried. I'm almost crying typing this!
I can't believe I'm finally graduating. I can't believe I'm walking across stage. I remember my freshman year I had completely planned on dropping out. School wasn't for me & I had "More important thing to do" untill I got pregnant with Anthony I was 100% sure I was dropping out. Anthony has saved me so much. I know I wouldn't be walking across the stage if it weren't for him.
Before I even found out I was graduating I went & bought my graduation invites, my dress, my cap & gown & planned 2 parties. I ended up spending about $160 & I was very nervous I wouldn't graduate & that would be a huge waste of money.
But I no longer have to worry.
This Saturday I'll be walking across stage. Now all I have to worry about is tripping!

Wow, its been 2 months since I have posted! i have been really busy.

Mine & Jake's anniversary was okay, we ended up having Christmas at my Dads that day, we were supposed to go to the movies or something the weekend after, but that still hasn't happened. We didn't do anything for his birthday either, but for my birthday I got a tattoo on the back of my neck & had a party & Daniel & Tedi's house. that was good. I really like my tattoo, Cindy, the girl who did it, did a wonderful job.

I wanted to make sure Anthony's middle name, Daniel, was in the tattoo, since Daniel is obviously my brothers name, & the only name in Anthony's name that has great meaning to it. Daniel & I have always been pretty close, he is the closest to my age & lived with me longer then any of the other boys. I have always looked up to him. He is a great role model & person & i really respect him. Him & I have gone through allot & been there for each other when times were tough. & that's why I chose his name to be in my first sons name.

I also wanted the angel wings, because Anthony is my angel. He has saved me in more ways then I can type on here, & has made me grow up & mature, which isn't a bad thing. He has made me look at the world totally different & realize there is so much more meaning to life then I thought. I honestly have no idea where I would be without him in my life now.

So to wrap this up, Anthony & Daniel are two of the most important people in my life, & that is why I chose that as my tattoo
