We found out at 18w6d it's a BOY! We are very excited! Anthony can't wait to have a brother!

Jake felt the baby kick for the first time tonight! & I can actually see the baby kick now from the outside of my belly! So exciting!!

Just a few more weeks (2 wks & 4 days to be exact!) until we find out if it's a BOY or GIRL! & I'll be half way done with my pregnancy at that point! (Actually a little over half way since I'll be going in a wk early.) I feel like this pregnancy is flying by!

So an update with baby:

I felt the baby move a couple weeks ago, but that was it for awhile, I didn't feel anything after that. But about 4 days ago I felt it again! & ever since then baby's been moving around like crazy! I only feel it when I'm sitting down relaxing, I don't feel it when I'm up moving around. Sooo I've been sitting down to relax a lot lately, just so I can feel the baby move :) I don't feel kicking or anything, it feels like the baby is doing gymnastics in my belly & rolling around in circles. I swear I felt the baby on the outside the other day though. It could be in my head but I had my arm resting on my belly & I felt a light tap on my arm. So I put my hand in the same spot to see if I would feel it again & I DID!

On Wednesday October 20 we had a big scare. Jake, Anthony & I were lying in bed. Jake & Anthony started tickling each other & wresting & playing around, when Anthony went to jump on Jake & missed & nailed me in my stomach. He's hit my belly on accident before but this time was so much harder than the others. His knee got me right about where my incision is from my c-section. It hurt. The pain started to subside after a minute or so but I was still crampy for about an hour after that. I was really starting to get nervous. So, I called my doctor & they said to come in right away & when I got there they listened to the heartbeat & said everything was perfect! They think it probably bruised me when he hit so hard & that's why I was cramping. I almost cried when I heard the heart beating good & strong, I was SO relieved!

So my appt to find out the sex on on November 17th (which is also Uncle Daniels Birthday!) Hopefully the baby will cooperate so we can see! At this point everyone, except for me, thinks it's a girl. I am hoping for a girl, but a boy will be a blessing too!

Went to the doctors on Wednesday & everything looks great! Baby was being pretty stubborn & didn't wan't to get in the right position so after doing one ultrasound I had to get up & walk around for a few minutes to try & get baby moving, layed back down for another ultrasound, & baby still wouldn't turn around. We got some pretty good pictures though & got to see baby kicking like crazy. I started laughing & tearing up when I seen him/her move, it was SO cute. & nice to be reassured everything's ok in there!

Tonight I swear I felt baby moving around. It was light movement that felt like a goldfish is swimming around in there. I felt it once & figured it was gas, but after feeling it a few more time's I'm sure its baby moving! I know what gas bubbles feel like & it's not the same. I feel like it's too early to feel anything yet but after going on Google (my best friend) I feel a little more confident that it was really the baby, a lot of other women have expierenced this too, & they say you feel it sooner with your second baby. Who knows, maybe I'm just going crazy!

Due date has been changed from April 18th to the 14th, not that much of a difference but I will probably be going in the 6th for the C-section since they like to do C-sections on wednesdays for some reason. Oh well, the sooner the better!

Baby.

I haven't been on here in close to a year. Now that I have Facebook with family on it I didn't see much point in posting stuff on here. But I figured I would turn this into a baby blog. For now on I am going to (try) & keep my blog updated with all the baby events going on for the people in my family who don't have Facebook, & just for myself. I think once the baby is born it will be fun to look back at.

So as of now, I am 12 wks 0 days pregnant. One more week until I enter my second trimester!! This is so exciting for us for a few reasons.



1. We no longer have to worry quite so much about losing the baby. Our chances of that have decreased immensely.



2. I'm starting to get some of my energy back! I don't constantly crave sleep anymore.



3. Not so many bathroom trips in the middle of the night!! Or day for that matter (Maybe this is why I'm getting some energy back, I don't have to wake up every couple hrs... for now!)



4. I'm not so nauseous anymore. Don't get me wrong, if I see, smell, or hear about seafood or eggs I am likely to feel sick, but it's not as bad as it was!



My due date is April 18, 2012, but I will most likely be having a C-section again, due to the fact that I had one with Anthony it would just be much easier on us all if I did it again, which means I will be having the baby a week early.



Like I did with Anthony, I am loving EVERY moment of being pregnant. Yeah, it sucks to be tired all the time & feel like I'm going to throw up over someones perfume in the store, but having a baby grow in my belly is amazing & SO worth it!



Anthony also loves that Mommy has a baby in her belly. He's always asking when we can go back to the doctors to see the baby. He's excited that the babys clothes are temporarily hung in his closet next to his clothes & that he gets to see mommys belly get bigger & bigger every week. He's SO excited & swears he's having a sister!





So on that note, my next appt is on Wednesday the 6th & we can't wait! :)
